Ammeter

We didn't have Ladies Aid this week. Gene Obee picked me up Wednesday morning and we went to Spring Lake to see where Bob and Kathryn Ireland live in their Winnebago. We took a tour of the lake, then Kathryn took us on to Wichita to Gene's eye appointment. We came back to Newton and ate lunch at a café. Bob joined us. Really a good day.
Thursday was a terrible foggy, misty morning. I went to Marion for physical therapy. I visited Maude Gaines in the evening.
I went to Burns Friday and visited with Carol Calahan at the city building.
Eric Boley went with me to Legacy Park at Peabody Friday to take birthday cake. We visited Emma Shaw, Donna Robb, Aunt Nonie Widler, Dorothy Whisler, and all the others at the party.
LaVonne Ammeter went to Lois Sayers' home. We picked up Joyce Kyle, Sherry Nightengale, Marie Clark, Norma Clark, and Dorene Kirkpatrick and went to Marion County Lake to the home of Rhonda Brenzikofer for 20th Century Club. Such a fun time.
Michele Boese and Dylan went with me to Marion for physical therapy and grocery shopping Tuesday morning.
Maudie Gaines was taken to Wesley hospital in Wichita Friday afternoon. She's doing better at this writing.
Our sympathy and prayers to the relatives and friends of Helen Ducommun. She was buried Thursday morning at Summit Cemetery.
