Friday night Steve and Melody Magette of Dodge City arrived to pick up LaVonne and travel to Olathe. They spent the night and Saturday at Adam and Crystal Magette's. We saw their new house and had a great visit.

Saturday afternoon everyone went to Eudora for supper and to spend the night with Eric and Kristin Magette and great-grandson Matthew. It rained all day so we just played with Matthew.

Sunday morning we all went to church in Eudora. After lunch we toured Eric's science and biology classrooms at the high school where he teaches. My, how Eudora has grown — houses and more houses. We left late afternoon and Melody and Steve went back to Dodge City.

Dorene Kirkpatrick and LaVonne were in El Dorado Thursday for shopping and lunch.

Maude Gaines, Sherry Nightengale, and Dorene Kirkpatrick attended Ladies Aid at LaVonne's Wednesday afternoon.

Maude and LaVonne went to the eye doctor in Newton Friday after delivering birthday cake to Legacy Park.

LaVonne's Monday evening supper guest was Stan Ammeter. Don Gillet was an afternoon visitor.

LaVonne was in Marion Monday morning for a doctor's appointment and to pick up election ballots. In the afternoon LaVonne attended a really great 20th Century Club meeting at Dorene Kirkpatrick's. Was so glad to have Kathleen Brenzikofer back home!

Stan Ammeter attended the Paul Stucky funeral Saturday.

Joyce Kyle and LaVonne went to Burns early Tuesday morning to set up election. We had 29 voters. Lots of you didn't vote! Joyce and LaVonne took ballots to the courthouse after the polls closed.

We extend our love, prayers, and sympathy to the Paul Stucky family.

The weather has been great last few days. Spring is on the way!
