We didn't have Ladies Aid this week because of the snow. It snowed all day. Stan was a supper guest.

I went to Peabody Friday afternoon and stopped to visit Maudie on the way home.

Gary Davis of Newton arrived Saturday morning at LaVonne's and we went to Burns to Ronnie Gaines' 65th birthday party at the community building. Sure was a good dinner and a nice party. Gary went back to Newton and came back Sunday morning for church.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood and Melody and Steve Magette of Dodge City arrived Saturday evening at the Ammeter farm to spend the weekend. Blaine went to visit Don and Margie Gfeller later in the evening.

We had church Sunday at Summit. We enjoyed Pastor Ragland's sermon.

Maude Gaines and LaVonne went to lunch Sunday at the Burns Community Building to help Don Gillet and his family celebrate his birthday.

Later in the afternoon Steve and Melody, Blaine, and I went to Don Gillet's open house for his 75th birthday. Sure was a nice celebration and got to see lots of friends and relatives. Lots of good food and we got to see Don's two little great-grandchildren, MacKaylee and Asher Nave.

Later in the afternoon Melody and Steve, Blaine, and I went to El Dorado to Pat and Kenneth Phillips' 60th wedding anniversary celebration at the country club. Another lovely celebration and got to see their children and grandkids and lots of friends.

Wow! What a busy weekend and we did lots of walking down memory lane. The Magettes went back to Dodge City from El Dorado and Blaine and I came back to the farm and Blaine left for home.

The Dan Wiebes report a great time on their cruise a week ago. Glad to have them back home. Kerri and Taryn stopped by LaVonne's Tuesday evening.

Shelly Harper of Inman visited Maude Gaines Saturday and went to Ronnie's birthday party.

LaVonne attended a real nice baby shower for Ashley Wiebe at the home of Lois Sayer. Joyce Kyle and Lois were hostesses. We did lots of visiting among the neighbors.

How about this cold weather? I'm ready for warmer weather.
