Ladies' Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Attending were Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines.
Maude and LaVonne were in Marion Thursday for doctor's appointments and shopping. They ate lunch at The Big Scoop.
LaVonne and Maude visited Ike and Marie Clark Friday afternoon. Got to visit with Mae Clark, too.
Saturday supper guests of Maude Gaines were Ronnie and Patti Gaines.
Saturday morning I got a call from Maple Grove, Minn., telling me Amy and Doug Drake had their baby boy. A new great-grandson, Daniel Douglas. Oh, so wonderful. That makes 12 great-grandchildren. Baby and mom and dad are doing great. He weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces and they say he has lots of dark hair. Can't wait to see him. Grandma Sally and Grandpa Myron are up there spoiling him.
We had church Sunday at Summit. After church we took down Christmas decorations.
Maude and LaVonne went to Florence Sunday for lunch at the Chuck Wagon. Later in the afternoon, they visited Elsie Tittle.
LaVonne and Dorene were in El Dorado Monday for my eye appointment and lunch.
Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived late Monday afternoon at the Ammeter farm for supper and to spend the night. Stan Ammeter was a Tuesday evening visitor.
LaVonne, Maude, and Blaine attended the senior citizens' potluck dinner at Burns Community Center. Had good food. A fun program was presented by Donnie Rodgers.
Stan Ammeter was an afternoon visitor and Blaine left for home late Tuesday afternoon.
Hope you all have a great week.
