Maude Gaines and LaVonne Ammeter went to the monthly senior dinner Tuesday at the Burns Community Building. Bryan Stucky gave the program and told about his book, "Hallowed Hardwoods," about the interesting old basketball gymnasiums in Kansas.

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne's. Attending were Leona Widler, Maude Gaines, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Sherry Nightengale.

Mary Sue Holm of Williamsburg, Va., arrived at the Ammeter farm late Wednesday afternoon to spend the night. Stan Ammeter was an evening visitor.

LaVonne, Maude, and Mary Sue went to Marion Thursday morning for a doctor's appointment and shopping. They ate lunch out.

Mary Sue Holm and LaVonne left for Wichita Thursday afternoon to spend the weekend with Jack and Carolyn Metz. Other overnight visitors were Amber Morger, Alexis, and Adria of Great Bend and Rose Holm of Agency, Mo.

Michele Boise visited LaVonne Thursday morning.

Friday Patricia Foster of Sand Springs, Okla., arrived at the home of Jack and Carolyn to join the rest of the family for lunch. Jim Holm, Bailey and Carly, and Rose and George Holm of Agency, Mo., Mary Sue Holm of Williamsburg, Va., Amber Morgan, Alexis and Adria, and LaVonne Ammeter were luncheon guests.

Mary Sue and LaVonne returned to the Ammeter farm Saturday afternoon. Later in the afternoon, LaVonne and Maude Gaines attended the wedding of Jandee Post and Andrew Nave at El Dorado.

Betty and Glen Kyle picked up LaVonne Saturday evening and they attended the wedding reception for Jandee and Andrew Nave at the home of Pat and Janet Post.

Chloe Boise and friend Ashley visited LaVonne and Mary Sue Saturday afternoon.

Maude Gaines visited Ike and Marie Clark Sunday afternoon.

Dinner guests of LaVonne Sunday were Mary Sue Holm, Gary David of Newton, and his nephew, Steve and Shawn Davis of Hesston.

LaVonne and Mary Sue went to Florence Sunday afternoon to watch Peabody play in the ball tournament.

Myron and Sally Ammeter called LaVonne Sunday evening. We still have no grandson or great-grandson yet.
