Alvin Bowyer
Alvin B. Bowyer, 68, of Bentley, died July 21, 2006, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Born Aug. 9, 1937, at Stark, he was the son of Paul and Emma (Bohlander) Bowyer.
He was a truck driver for the Coleman Company.
On Sept. 1, 1957, he married Carol Hull at Erie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Virgil and Riley Bowyer; and a sister, Georgianna Bowyer.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Bowyer of Bentley; son, Jeff Bowyer of Ottawa; daughter, Twyla Middleton of Peabody; two brothers, Lawrence Bowyer of Pittsburg and Wendell Bowyer of Chanute; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held this morning (Wednesday) at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley, with the Rev. Craig Reynolds officiating.
Memorial funds have been established with Bentley United Methodist Church or Bentley Senior Center.
