Alma McCoy
Alma L. McCoy, 96, Benton, retired farmer and homemaker, died May 7, 2002, at Hymes Memorial Hospice, Andover.
She was born Sept. 16, 1905, at Welch, Okla., the daughter of William L. and Grace (Nading) Goodbar.
She was married to George McCoy May 3, 1928, at Coffeyville. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Gerald McCoy of Peoria, Ariz.; daughter, Sharilyn Dienst, Benton; brother, William Goodbar, Indianapolis, Ind.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Thursday at Green Valley Cemetery near Furley.
A memorial fund has been established at the hospice in Andover.
