Achievers meet Oct. 17 years ago

Peabody Achievers 4-H Club met Oct. 17 at Peabody Elementary School. The meeting was called to order by president Ben Janzen.

Members of the club were asked to bring items from certain categories to show to new members.

Nicholas Preheim brought a reading display and Zachary Preheim brought a wildlife display. Kaden Gibson brought a rocket, while Kendra Harms brought photography pictures. Amy Wedel showed a drawing of three faces. Kate Preheim had a kitchen angel for crafts. Bryce Roberts brought purchased clothing and Jordan Gibson brought constructed clothing.

Members enrolled in projects for the beginning of the new 4-H year.

"Doggy, Doggy, Where is your Bone?" was the recreational game.

Roll call was answered by each person stating their full name.

The achievement banquet will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 5 at St. Mark's Activity Center, Marion. The next 4-H meeting will be Nov. 7. Members are asked to bring a food item for roll call.
