Accidents reported

The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Brad D. Cole, 38, 1560 320th, Tampa, was eastbound on 320th just east of Limestone at 7:55 a.m. Nov. 2 when a deer ran across 320th and was struck and killed. Cole was driving a 1995 Chevrolet S10 pickup. Sheriff Lee Becker states Cole was not injured.

William H. Rhodes, 37, 3567 Quail Creed Rd., Ramona, was westbound on 360th just east of Remington at 8 p.m. Nov. 4. Rhodes swerved to avoid deer in the roadway. He lost control of the 1983 Ford Ranger he was driving and ended up in the ditch. The vehicle is registered to David R. Dearring, Richmond. Rhodes was not injured, reports Deputy Garry Klose.

Rollind E. Bartel, 51, 1161 210th, Hillsboro, was southbound on Falcon just south of 220th at 7:20 p.m. Nov. 4. Deer came from the west ditch and was struck by Bartel's 2002 Dodge Caravan. Melissa Bartel, 51, of the home was a passenger in the vehicle. No one was injured, reports Deputy Larry Starkey.

Vance G. Frick, 23, 1006 280th, Durham, was southbound on K-15 just north of 230th at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 1. A deer ran into the path of his 1989 Mercury Cougar and was struck. The vehicle is registered to Curtis B. Frick of the home. Frick was not injured states Deputy Aaron Waddell.

Terri D. Thompson, 33, 501 N. "B" Street, Ramona, was southbound on Quail Creek just south of 290th at 7 a.m. Nov. 5. Thompson's 1993 Geo Metro began to skid in loose gravel and entered the east ditch, striking a utility pole. Thompson was taken by Lifeteam to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
