Accidents reported
The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
Michael R. Vineski, 48, 210 South Ash, Hillsboro, was westbound on 190th just west of Pawnee at 10:25 p.m. Feb. 17. A deer entered the roadway and was struck by another vehicle. The deer then ran in front of Vineski's 2000 Chevrolet Impala and was struck and killed. The vehicle is registered to Marion County. Vineski was not injured.
Stanton L. Williams, 41, 405 North Locust, Marion, was northbound on U.S.-77 just north of Wagon Wheel at 6:05 p.m. Dec. 16. A deer came from the west ditch and was struck by Williams' 1996 Chevrolet S10 pickup. Williams Service, Inc. 1101 North Main, Florence, is the registered owner. Williams was not injured, reports Deputy Larry Starkey.
