Accidents
The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
Ernest Herandez-Zuniga, 36, Wichita, was driving a 2000 one-ton Chevrolet truck northbound on K-15 near milepost 122 at 3:55 p.m. July 19 when the right front tire went off the edge of the road. According to Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver overcorrected and lost control of the truck. The truck rolled twice and came to rest in an east ditch. Saul Guzman, 40, Wichita, was a passenger. The driver was injured and transported by Hillsboro EMS to Newton Medical Center. The passenger also was transported with a possible injury.
