The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Mathew J. Leach, 17, 202 North D, Ramona, was northbound on Xavier at 290th at 3:20 p.m. April 2. David M. Loveless, 49, 507 North Topeka, Lincolnville was westbound on 290th. Leach, driving a 1994 Chevrolet S10 did not stop at the stop sign and struck Loveless' 1974 Chevrolet C-65. Leach's vehicle is registered to Fern Leach of the home. Shawmar Oil Co. of Marion is the registered owner of Loveless' vehicle. Leach was taken by Marion Ambulance to Herington Hospital, reports Undersheriff Randal Brazil.

Tabea C. Loveless, 82, 2511 Unicorn, Lincolnville, was northbound on U.S.-56 just south of 340th at noon April 14. Another vehicle passed Loveless' 2001 Buick LeSabre and as the driver attempted to come back into the correct lane, sideswiped Loveless' vehicle. Deputy Josh Whitwell states Loveless was not injured.

Christopher R. Hamm, 20, Newton, was southbound on Quail Creek just south of 50th at 7:30 p.m. April 22. Hamm lost control is his 1976 Oldsmobile Cutlass and entered the west ditch, striking a fence that is property of Clay White Ranch. Other passengers in the vehicle were Adam Carroll, 20, and Jason Carroll, 18, 704 North Sycamore, Peabody, and Pam Herzet, 25, Newton. Jason Carroll was taken by private vehicle to Newton Medical Center. Hamm's vehicle is registered to Paul Morrison, 513 Doyle, Florence, reports Undersheriff Brazil.

William J. Urbanek, 83, Newton, was northbound on Indigo just north of 130th at 9:31 a.m. April 24. Urbanek's 1992 Ford Crown Victoria entered the east ditch. Urbanek was able to move the vehicle before Sergeant Jeff Soyez arrived. The vehicle was towed by Markley's Service.

Michael H. Redden, 47, Gypsum, was eastbound on 330th just west of Goldenrod at 9:55 p.m. April 6 when a deer came out of the south ditch. Redden, driving a 2004 Honda Civic was unable to avoid hitting the deer. Redden was not injured, reports Sergeant Soyez.
