Aaron Topham tops rest of cross country field

Peabody-Burns High School cross country team traveled Thursday to Clearwater for the first meet of the 2005 season.
The junior high boys' team was led by Aaron Topham with an eighth-place finish. Sheldon Wiebe came in 11th.
Lauren Pickens led the junior high girls' squad with a ninth-place finish. Michaela Methvin placed 17th.
For the high school boys' team, Andrew Topham won the 5K event with a time of 17:10. Jacob Wolf finished in 17th and Duane Unruh crossed the finish line in 22nd-place.
The high school boys also had two junior varsity medalists. Robert Rossberg finished 18th and Kendall Wiebe won a 32nd-place medal.
Alyssa Carter was the only high school female medalist with a 13th-place finish.
