Round the town: Durham women celebrate birthdays

Durham Baptist women celebrated birthdays Friday evening at Olde Towne Restaurant at Hillsboro. Birthdays honored were Beverly Elliott, Jane Miller, Marcella Mohn, and Geraldine Frick. Other attending were Virginia Fadenrecht, Arlene Pankratz, Carol Ollenburger, Valerie Hampton, Betty Meier, Connie Wiens, Pearl Koch, Frances Unruh, Mary Helen Becker, and Marilyn Geis of Marion.
Paul and Arlene Pankratz visited Wednesday with Jay and Luella Burkhart and Elmer and Dorothy Seibel at Newton.
Gaylord and Valera Hamm of Durham visited Thursday evening at the Paul Pankratz home.
Julie Arquello of Costa Rica is visiting her parents, Bill and Betty Meier for several weeks while her husband works in Colorado. Bill, Betty, and Julie and Bob Whitney of Newton visited Friday with Eunice Klein at Shawnee Mission.
Norman and Dot Ensz celebrated the 16th birthday of their granddaughter, Stephanie Ensz with a Sunday supper at the home of Terry and Joni Ensz of Maize.
Willis and Ruth Ann Penner hosted a Sunday MCC dinner. Guests were Charles and Doris Unruh of the Tabor church and Gene and Mary Herr of Hesston Mennonite Church.
Wilbur and Florence Hett visited their sister-in-law, Betty Riffel at the Abilene hospital.
Dave and Mary Lancaster were weekend guests of George and Lucille Lancaster at Kansas City. They celebrated Saturday evening with a birthday supper for Dave.
