The Five Hundred Club members and their husbands gathered at the home of Mr. And Mrs. Herbert Hickman last Thursday evening for a social evening of cards. Mr. And Mrs. Ladner carried away the high honors while Mrs. F.B. Graham and Mr. Watson were the unlucky players.
Miss Mildred Savage was most agreeably surprised Monday evening when a number of young friends called at her home to spend the evening. Games were played and reminiscences of school days related. The gathering was held as a compliment to Miss Savage, who leaves Jan. 26 for Emporia where she will attend Kansas State Teachers College.
