Writers to speak about Texas Cattle Trail at library

Writers Gary and Margaret Kraisinger will give a program titled “The Western - the Greatest Texas Cattle Trail - 1874-1886” at 7 p.m. May 11. in the Santa Fe Room at Marion City Library.

The Kraisingers will talk about the trail’s location, origin, and its role in history. Through maps and in-depth research, they have documented the largest cattle trail system to come out of Texas to deliver longhorns to the north.
