LaVonne Ammeter went to lunch Oct. 19 at Peabody Senior Center and helped with the peppernut project after the meal. She visited Peabody Care Center and saw Donna Robb, Opal Craney, and Marg and Fordy Gray.

Donnella Humphries came from Florence on Oct. 20 and took LaVonne to get a tire fixed, pick up medicine, and take recycling to Burns. Donnella stayed for supper.

Donnella visited again on Oct. 22 to take LaVonne to Peabody for groceries. They had lunch at the farm before Donnella returned home. Gary Davis arrived from his sister’s home in Florence and spent the night.

LaVonne and Davis went to church on Oct. 23 at Ebenezer Church. Stan Ammeter stopped by later for dinner and Blaine and Carol stopped by. They had been to Don and Marge Gfellers’. They helped LaVonne do some things, had supper, and then headed home to Ellinwood.

On Oct. 24, LaVonne was the hostess for the Twentieth Century Club meeting. Lois Sayers, Joyce Kyle, Marie Clark, Norma Clark, Sherol Nightengale, and guest Blondie Logan attended. Rhonda Brenzikofer and Dorene Kirkpatrick were unable to attend. The group had a good meeting and did lots of visiting.
