The Langs have a busy week

Jasmine King of Emporia visited Denise and Johnny Lang on Aug. 14. The Langs and Jamie Lang of Emporia visited friends in Wichita on Aug. 16. The Langs celebrated Denise’s birthday early by spending time Aug. 17 at Kansas Star Casino.

Janet Cress visited Doni Rogers at Strong City on Aug. 15. They ate out together.

Bill and Margie Williams met their daughter, Gayla Soyez, on Aug. 12 at Park City. They ate dinner together in Wichita. They attended the visitation for Paulette Zook on Aug. 13 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Florence and attended the funeral service the next day at the Florence United Methodist Church.

The Williams’ attended a card party Aug. 16 at Carriage Manor in Florence. Danny and Peggy Haines were hosts.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling attended a cookout Aug. 17 at the home of Danny and Tammy Snelling in Marion. It was a back-to-school event for Kristen Snelling and Adam Cope.

Clayton Jackson of Cedar Point has enrolled at Kansas State University, where he is a walk-on member of the football team.
