WONSEVU: Snellings have event-filled weekend

Dale and Tootsie Snelling, Danny, Tammy, and Dean Snelling went to a football game in Brookville to see Seth play for Marion on Friday night.

On Saturday, Dale and Tootsie attended Old Settlers’ Day in Marion. Tootsie made a float and participated in the parade for Relay for Life. Dale pulled the float and Tootsie walked behind it.

On Sunday, Dale and Tootsie visited Duane and Donna Snelling in El Dorado. Later that afternoon, they had cake and ice cream to celebrate Dean Snelling’s birthday.

Bill and Margie Williams and Gary went to Mercy Hospital in Manhattan to visit, Lucy Mae, Gary’s new granddaughter and Bill and Margie’s new great-granddaughter.

Janet Chess’s daughter, Randy Foster, visited from Ankeny, Iowa, on Sunday.

Doni Rogers attended Coopers Horse Sale on Sunday in Emporia.

Sharon Smith took care of grandsons Lance, Colt, Cinch, and Kash while their parents were busy doing other things on Saturday.
