WONSEVU: Monthly potluck held in Florence

A monthly potluck supper was held Sept. 21 at Carriage Manor in Florence. Those present were hostesses Coleen Bruner and Carol Kutz, Jean Everett, Hazel Clothier, Dale and Tootsie Snelling, Sandi Harper, Mary Jane Grimmett, Elise Joneanne, Janet Cress, and Bill and Margie Williams.
Janet Cress ate lunch Sept. 23 with her sister Leatha Goering in Marion.
John and Denise Lang’s guests from Sept. 23 to 25 were their grandkids Dana and Daxton from Strong City.
Guests of John and Denise Lang Sept. 23 was their son Johnny Lang from Towanda. Their guest on Sept. 25 was Dustin Maddox of Strong City.
Dale and Tootsie Snelling went to Marion’s homecoming football game Sept. 23 to see granddaughters Molly and Emmy Hess cheer.
Dale and Tootsie Snelling went to Old Setters’ Day Sept. 24. After the parade, they had lunch in the park and visited with friends.
Dale and Tootsie Snelling visited Dale’s brother Duane and Donna Snelling in El Dorado after church Sept. 25.
Lorena Magathan, Anna Voelker, Sue Clough, and Margie Williams met in Florence Se[t. 23 for pie and coffee.
Will Soyez and Bill and Margie Williams went to Wamego Sept. 24 to help great-granddaughter Lucy Williams celebrate her second birthday. Others present were Gary and Terry Williams of Goddard, Patty Tastava of Westphalia, and Larry and Donna Kukuk of Marion. After the party, Gary, Terry, Will, Bill, and Margie ate supper in Florence.
Doni Rogers spent 10 days visiting friends and relatives in Kansas and Colorado.
