Family and friends celebrated Johnny Lang’s 24th birthday July 31 at his home. Guests included his sisters Jessica Maddox of Strong City, Jamie Lang of Emporia, and his niece and nephew, Dana and Daxton Maddox of Strong City.
Doni Rogers and Bernice Odle ate lunch in Emporia on July 30. Doni later went to the barbecue at the fair.
Doni and Janet Cress ate lunch together Aug. 2 after attending church at Cottonwood Falls. Doni also attended a baby shower at Council Grove.
Gary Williams was a dinner guest of his parents, Bill and Margie Williams on Aug. 1. Their grandsons, Carl Williams of Omega and Terry Williams of Goddard joined them for dinner the next day.
