Mike Jackson grew up in Cedar Point. He died Thursday at his home at age 48. On Sunday, Tootsie Snelling, Coleen Brunner, and Bill and Margie Williams attended the celebration of life for Jackson at the grade school in Strong City.

On Jan. 8, Doni Rogers attended the monthly senior center meeting at the Burns Community Building. Dale and Tootsie Snelling also attended the meeting.

On Friday, Rogers visited Evelyn Sidener at the Golden Living Center in El Dorado.

On Jan. 9, visitors of Everett and Janet Cress were Dan Flerther and Justin Jackson of Cedar Point.

Dinner guests of the Cresses on Sunday were Shawna and David Goodwin of Douglas. An afternoon visitor was Dave West of Newton.

Gary Williams called on Bill and Margie Williams on Thursday.

Bill and Margie Williams visited Hazel Clothier in St. Luke’s Hospital on Friday in Marion. They visited her again on Sunday.

Bob and Betty Hanes hosted a card party on Saturday at Carriage Manor in Florence. Bill and Margie Williams were in attendance.
