Two presenters will speak at the eighth annual Women’s Health Night coordinated by Greenhaw Pharmacy. Jan Frantz, owner of Jan’s Floral, will demonstrate how to make a fall wreath, and Lana Bichet will speak about her life-changing health experiences.
“It’s a great night for women to get out, have some fun, and get some health information,” Myrna Hamm, office manager for Greenhaw Pharmacy, said. “We want to raise awareness to potential health problems more than anything.
“Lana has had a challenging year with some dramatic health related tragedies she will talk about and offer advice about.”
The night starts at 6 p.m. at Trinity Mennonite Church. Speakers take the stage at 7 p.m. Area businesses will have booths with information and items to sell before and after the speakers. Door prizes will be given.
Punch cards for the event can be picked up at select area businesses and entered into a drawling.
“Women can get the cards initialed at 13 area businesses that are either owned or ran by a woman,” Hamm said. “For each business that signs the card, the person entering the drawling can win more prizes.”
