Guests of Dale and Tootsie Snelling the weekend of June 24 were Danny and Tammy Snelling and Seth and Kyle Palic of Marion, Tristen and Adam Cope of Florence, Dean Snelling of Goessel, and Doni Rogers of Strong City. They kayaked and had a cookout. Dean launched fireworks in the evening.

Bill and Margie Williams took Hazel Clothier to a Newton restaurant July 5 to celebrate her 95th birthday. Later the Williamses visited with her at home in Florence. Gary Williams of Goddard joined them for lunch.
