Weekend events planned for Peabody

Friday will feature a Christmas in July ladies night of bingo at Peabody American Legion. Christmas shirts and white elephant gifts wrapped in Christmas paper are encouraged.

Brian Mosiman’s weiner cart will be available 5 to 8 p.m. Bingo will start at 6.

The Hub will sponsor a cornhole and swimming event from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the city pool.

Families of middle and high school students are welcome. Younger kids must be accompanied by an adult. Prizes will be offered. Hotdogs, chips, and drinks will be available by donation.

A free showing of the movie “The Meg” will top off the weekend at 2 p.m. Sunday at Peabody Township Library.

Popcorn and a drink will be available for $2.
