Warriors offense missing at sub state

Point production for the Peabody-Burns High School Warriors basketball team shut down the 2011 season in the first round of sub-state. Berean took the win over PBHS, 53-15.

Berean had all of the points in the first quarter. The score favored the host team, 12-0, at the end of the quarter.

PBHS scoring trouble continued in the second quarter. A total of 8 points were scored for the Peabody-Burns team. Austin Savage and Storm Pickens each had a trey and Derek Price had a 2-point basket. Berean added 19 and led PBHS, 31-8, at the half.

The Warriors of PBHS generated a total of 7 points in the second half of the contest. Pickens had 5 and Sean Brunner added a 2. Berean scored 2 points. PBHS finished the season with a loss to Berean, 53-15.
