Peabody-Burns Warriors game against the Solomon Gorillas Friday ended after halftime, with a final-score of 52-0.
The Gorillas scored five touchdowns in the first quarter, leading at that point, 30-0.
The Warriors fought back in the second quarter, but Solomon managed to score three more touchdowns along with four points from conversions.
The game ended before the second half due to the Mercy Rule.
Even though the game ended after two quarters, the Peabody-Burns Little Cheer and high school band still performed their halftime shows.
The Warriors will face the Flinthills Mustangs Friday at the stadium in Peabody City Park for their homecoming game.
