Warriors defeat Bulldogs 36-20

Peabody-Burns’s performance at Friday’s game was successful enough to secure them a 35-20 win over the Madison Bulldogs.

The Warriors surpassed the Bulldogs in the first quarter with a score of 8-6, however, the Bulldogs scored two more touchdowns in the second quarter, while the Warriors only scored one, making the score 16-20 at half.

The Warriors received help in the second half of the game after the Bulldogs had two turnovers. The Warriors scored 20 more points in the second half, and the Bulldogs scored none, leaving the Bulldogs in the Warriors’ dust with a final score of 36-20.

Head coach David Pickens could not be reached for comments and statistics by press time.

The Warriors will face the Burlingame Bearcats on Friday for senior night at the Peabody City Park football field.
