Peabody-Burns was cooled off by the Rural Vista Heat at Friday’s game, losing 42-30.
Although the Warriors lost, the team fought its way from the 30-16 halftime deficit to outscore the Heat in the second half.
Clayton Philpott led the Warriors with two touchdowns, while Corbin Reeves and Cody Partridge each had one.
Dakota Reynolds had 46 yards total for the evening, including 42 rushing and 4 receiving. Reynolds also came in second in number of tackles, having had 10, while Austin Reynolds led in number of tackles with 11.
