Walter Weber, 92, died Sunday at Sedgwick Health Care Center in Sedgwick.

He was born Oct. 29, 1920, to David and Elizabeth (Reh) Weber. He married Dorothy Loewen on June 13, 1947, in Hillsboro.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Sedgwick; sons Charlie of Santa Clarita, Calif., and John of Lincoln Neb.; daughters Kathy Nichols of Lincoln, Neb., Beth Spencer of Odessa, Texas, and Becky Harms of Wichita; sisters Noreen Hein of Lawrence and Lois Groening of Hillsboro; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Jost Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established with North American Baptist Missions in care of Jost Funeral Home.
