Without head coach Isaac Burnett, the Peabody-Burns Warriors won two games and lost three in a tournament in Solomon last weekend.
Sheena Gann stepped in and coached the team.
A highlight of the weekend was against Tescott, when Peabody-Burns came back from a 20-14 hole in the second set to win 25-23 and clinch the match. The Warriors were led in that set by Katy Benson, who did a bit of everything with three kills, four assists and three digs.
Peabody-Burns also beat Elyria Christian.
The Warriors lost to Inman and Solomon in two sets and also lost to Wakefield.
