Veva Navrat

Veva Lucile Navrat, 99, of Marion, died Nov. 25, at St. Luke Living Center, Marion.

Born Oct. 10, 1910, near Burrton to Melvin and Bessie Ann (Barnes) Howell, she graduated from Burrton High School in 1928. On July 6, 1932, she maried Edward Navrat. They lived and farmed near Lincolnville, moving to Marion in 1934. Edward died May 12, 1990. She was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church.

Two sisters, Vivian Armour and Ruth Heller and two brothers, Dan and Melvin Howell, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Kay Ann of Santa Fe, N.M.; a son, Dennis of Vermillion, S.D.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 29 at Marion Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jeremiah Lange officiating. Burial was at Marion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Living Center and the church.
