Services for Verna Louise (Koehn) Becker, 80, who died Friday at her home near Burns, were Tuesday at Eden Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in Burns.
Burial was in Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery.
She was born on Aug. 7, 1942, to William and Leona Dirks Koehn at the family farm on the outskirts of Burns.
She attended Burns Elementary School and was baptized Feb. 6, 1955, by minister Norman Eicher.
On Dec. 17, 1961, she married Galen Becker in Burns. They farmed and spent winters rebuilding homes after disasters in Jamaica, Belize, and South Carolina.
Survivors include her husband; daughters Arlene Giesel of Burns, Mary Lou Unruh of Albertville, Alabama, and Jan Schafer of Murray, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Infant daughter Carolyn, two brothers, and a sister preceded her in death.
Memorials have been established with Gospel Tract and Bible Society and Christian Public Service.
Petersen Funeral Home, Newton, was in charge of arrangements.
