Turnout poor for jail tours

Poor turnout to Marion County Jail tours Monday night left Sheriff Rob Craft frustrated.

He said people are quick to criticize efforts of the Marion County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Center Committee, but they are unwilling to take 10 minutes to see the problem for themselves.

Two county residents took the tour Monday. Tours also were offered Tuesday night.

Today is the final day of tours. Anyone interested in a tour can go to the east side of the jail between 5:30 and 7 p.m.
