State qualifiers return to Goessel track

Curtis Guhr is looking forward to another good year, his 16th as head track coach at Goessel.
Last year, girls took second in Wheat State League and second at regionals. Boys finished first in Wheat State League and first at regionals, capturing ninth at state. A large number of last year’s state qualifiers’ will be returning this year.
On the girls side, they include Cheyenne Sawyer, Logan Bryant, Jaicee Griffin, Rylee Walker, Braylyn Hoopes, Aimee Funk, Abbigail Funk, and Riley Graber plus letter winner Brooklyn Wuest.
On the boys side, returning state qualifiers are Grant Bryant, Kacen Smith, Joey Lapp, Jake Flaming, and Caleb Burkholder. Returning letter winners are Eli Boden, Javin Schmidt, and Levi Schrag.
Guhr will be looking to returning letter winners and state qualifiers to lead the team this season.
