Topham, Flores place third at Hesston

The Peabody-Burns High School track team competed April 12 in the Hesston CKTL meet.

Seth Topham finished third in the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 6 inches. He placed sixth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 45.79, a personal best. Topham was also part of the fourth-place 4x100 relay team with Allen McLaughlin, Zach Preheim, and Andrew Sheffler that ran a time of 51.34 seconds.

Silvia Flores finished third in the long jump with a leap of 14-2.75. Flores finished fifth in the 100 with a time of 14.34.

Paige Lewis finished fourth in the 300 hurdles with a time of 56.24.

Spencer Moffet finished sixth in the discus with a throw of 104-6, a personal best. Moffet also finished fifth in the javelin, 115-2.

Lucas Larsen placed sixth in the shot put with a throw of 36-11.5. He also finished sixth in the javelin, 113-5.
