With a win against Canton-Galva Thursday, the Peabody-Burns Junior High Tomahawks are now 4-1 this season. The team claimed a 46-30 victory and will host Moundridge Thursday.
Seth Topham set up the first Tomahawk scoring drive with a fumble recovery at the Canton-Galva 39-yard line.
Hunter Pickens put up the first score of the ballgame with a 16-yard run.
Pickens connected with Lucas Larsen for the two-point conversion, and the Tomahawks led the contest 8-0 with 7:28 on the clock in the first quarter.
Canton-Galva came back to tie the score on its next drive.
With 6:01 on the clock in the first, the score was tied at eight.
The next drive for the Tomahawks started at their own 40. Larsen ended the 60-yard drive with a 20-yard run to the end zone.

Pickens added two points and the Tomahawks increased the lead to 24-14 with 5: 47 left in the second.
A second fumble recovery by Topham set up the next Tomahawk score.

PBJH led 32-14 with 4:45 on the clock in the second.
Another score from Canton-Galva before the half cut the Tomahawk lead to 32-22.

The first was a 45-yard run and the second was a run that totaled 35 yards.
Pickens added a two-point conversion to make the PBJH lead 46-22.
Savage also had two fumble recoveries in the second half.
Canton-Galva added a score with less than a minute left in the contest, but PBJH took the win 46-30.
