Next week’s Threshing Days in Goessel will feature prairie tractors and stationary engines along with many other activities.

Admission will be $5 at the gate or $4 in advance, and free for children 11 and under.

Breakfast will be offered from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 5, followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and supper from 5 to 7 p.m.

Gates will officially open at noon, Aug. 5, and sawmill demonstrations will be going through the afternoon.

Pedal tractor raffle tickets will be on sale all afternoon Aug. 5 and 6. The drawing will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 7.

A large engines start-up will be at 2 and 4 p.m. at the large engine building. A threshing demonstration will be at 3 p.m. with a field demonstration at 3:30 p.m.

On Aug. 6, breakfast will be from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., lunch from 11 to 2 p.m., and supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. A parade will begin at 9:30 a.m.

A four-on-four sand volleyball tournament is planned for Aug. 6, along with a 7 a.m. 5K run to raise money for the Goessel High School cross country team.

Kids activities will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Uncle Milt’s Shed.

Threshing demonstrations will be at 11 a.m., 1:30, and 3:30 p.m. with field demonstrations at 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

A parade of power will begin at 1 p.m., and 1925 Ford Model T assembly, sawmill, and blacksmith demonstrations will go on all afternoon.

An arts and crafts demonstration will be at 2 p.m. in the Wheat Hall, and large engines start-up will be at 2 and 4 p.m. in the large engine building.

Breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. Aug. 7, with a worship and song celebration led by Glenn and Sheila Litke at 9:30.

A special Sunday dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Wheat Hall, and kids activities will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Uncle Milt’s Shed.

Arts and crafts and sawmill demonstrations will be at 1 p.m., threshing demonstrations at 1:30 p.m., and field demonstrations at 2 p.m.

Sunday supper will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
