Thomas Morgan

Thomas “Earl” Morgan, 84, Great Bend, died March 29 at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood.

Born May 1, 1925, in Three Sands, Okla., to Levi and Netia Morgan, he was married April 22, 1948, to Helen Slaymaker, formerly of Peabody, in Eunice, N.M.

A sister, Alma Prewett, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; three daughters, Sandra Jenks, Kim Tutak, and Terri Delgado of Great Bend; a brother, Fred of Burkburnett, Texas; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend, with the Rev. William F. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend.

Memorials have been established with the American Heart Association and First Christian Church Building Fund, in care of the funeral home.
