Thomas J. Anderson, 65, retired Boeing human resources manager, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at Presbyterian Manor, Newton, Kansas.

He was born Nov. 20, 1950, in Herington to John Henry and Madeline Jane (Mastek) Anderson.

He was a Newton resident for three years and was formerly a resident of Marion and Wichita.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during Viet Nam.

On Oct. 1, 1983, he married Sheila K. Milne in Sedgwick, Kansas. She survives.

Other survivors include: son Gary (Colleen) Brown, Topeka; daughters Carrie Milne, Wichita; and Heather (Erick) von Merveldt, Andover; brothers, Scott (Monica) Anderson, Olathe; and Terance (Dianna) Anderson, Fayetteville, Georgia; sister, Jaclyn Anderson, Baldwin City; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Brill, and a sister, Patricia Anderson.

A Celebration of Life was 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Plymouth Congregational Church, Sedgwick, Kansas with Pastor Craig Reynolds officiating.

Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.

Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Hospice or Presbyterian Manor in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
