Peabody United Methodist Church held a farewell potluck lunch at the church for pastor David and Kathryn Ragland on June 14. All of the remaining former Summit Church members attended to wish them well. Attending were Marvin and Sherol Nightengale, Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Jeff and Cindy Holt.
Al and Bonnie Plummer went to Norton to visit her brother, Joe Lambert, the week of June 8. Bonnie’s sister, Kay Lambert of Wakarusa, was a June 12 and 13 overnight guest.
Supper guests of Lawrence and Lois Sayers on June 11 were Bruce Sayers, Megan Sayers, and a friend, Nicole.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines spent time June 10 to 12 in Eureka at softball games in which their granddaughter, Brooke Gaines, participated.
Bob and Becky Kyle called on Joyce Kyle June 16.
