Peabody Recreation Commission has published and mailed the 2013 summer calendar of events to district patrons.

The calendar contains information about swimming lessons, the summer reading program at Peabody Township Library, swim meets, free swim days and family swim days at the Peabody pool, and trips to area attractions and sporting events.

The calendar is packed with information and opportunities. Deadlines and costs to enroll in swimming lessons, various instructional courses, summer sports, and out-of-town trips are included.

Patrons can sign up by using the registration forms included with the calendar, by e-mailing peabodyburnsrec@juno.com or by calling (620)344-8380.

Anyone who did not receive a summer event calendar may pick one up at USD 398 Central Office at 506 N. Elm St.
