Students graduate from WSU
Area students were among 1,500, who completed degrees this spring at Wichita State University.
From Goessel, Ashley Ensz graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; Sara Hall, Bachelor of General Studies in psychology; and Janelle Hoopes, suma cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in education for history and government grades six through 12.
From Hillsboro, Peter Fast, magna cum laude, Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering; Kelsie Penner, suma cum laude, Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing; and Clinton Schneider, cum laude, Bachelor of Science in computer science.
From Marion, Karson Craig, Doctor of Physical Therapy.
From Peabody, Joseph Brunner, suma cum laude, bachelor of Business Administration in accounting; Christina Nava, Bachelor of Arts in anthropology; and Rachel Womack, magna cum laude, Bachelor of Arts in elementary education.
Undergraduate students who attained a grade point average of 3.9 received the summa cum laude distinction; those with an average of 3.55 received the magna cum laude; and those with an average of 3.25 receive the cum laude.
