The Marion County Record, Hillsboro Star-Journal, and Peabody Gazette-Bulletin will print a very special “Dear Santa” keepsake edition of the newspapers on Dec. 21.

Publication will be normal Dec. 19. The special edition on Dec. 21 will include letters to Santa and drawings. Children may drop off letters or drawings at the Record or Gazette-Bulletin offices, at Kessler Kreations in Hillsboro, or mail them to Hoch Publishing Company, PO Box 278, Marion, KS 66861.

We will also announce our True Meaning of Christmas gift winner(s) in the Dec. 21 edition. Residents can contribute to this charitable offering by shopping at Carlsons’ Grocery and Marion Health Mart Pharmacy stores for our Santa Bucks promotion this week and next. For every dollar spent and Santa Buck turned in, Hoch Publishing will contribute additional money to the True Gifts of Christmas fund.

Readers can also send checks directly for the fund or drop donations off at the newspaper office in Marion.
