Students from the Peabody-Burns school district performed vocal and instrumental music numbers March 19 at Peabody United Methodist Church. The Sorosis Beta Club sponsored the event.

Soloists and small ensemble groups presented to eight club members, parents of the students, and interested community members. Sorosis Beta member Virginia Skinner organized the event and club members provided a reception for the students and guests.

A short business meeting was held after the program. The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. April 16 with hostesses Katherine Ragland and Lou Ann Gray.
