Sorosis Beta members hear about end of life planning

The women of Sorosis Beta met Feb. 19, at the Ann Potter Room in the Peabody Library.

The program for the evening, “Plans for End of Life,” was presented by Marion attorney Bob Brookens. His program dealt with wills, trusts, deeds, and estates.

There were 12 members and 11 guests present. Hostess for the evening was Norma Patton, assisted by co-hostess Sonja Koslowsky.

Following the program, President Lou Ann Gray called the meeting to order. Business items were discussed and the minutes and treasurer’s reports read and approved.

Refreshments were served and the meeting was adjourned.

“School musicians” will be the topic of the March meeting set for 7 p.m. March 19, at the Methodist Church. Carolyn Rowland and Arlene Moffett will be the hostesses.
