Sorosis Beta Club met at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ann Potter Room in Peabody Township Library with 11 members present.

The meeting was a Pampered Chef fundraising event. Hostesses were Janie Hodges, Sonja Koslowsky, and Pat Henderson. The Pampered Chef consultant was Marissa Reunbold.

Marissa demonstrated some of the Pampered Chef products by preparing an omelet, which was served to the club members with muffins, juice, and coffee.

Sherry Gerrity won the Pampered Chef prize given by Marissa.

Club officers dispensed with the usual business meeting. Katherine Ragland won the hostess gift.

Sorosis Beta members will meet next at 7 p.m. on Dec. 15 at the home of Sharon Pickens. The annual Christmas meeting and gift exchange will take place and members are reminded to bring a Christmas poem to share.
