WONSEVU:   Snellings attend grandchildren's events

Our monthly potluck sharing group met Sept. 17 at the Carriage Manor in Florence. Those present were Mary Jane Grimmett, Tootsie Snelling, Carol Kutz, Linda Allison, Hazel Clothier, Elsia, Janet Cress, Sandi Cunningham, and Bill and Margie Williams. Grimmett was host.

Some of Denise Lang’s friends met her Thursday at Auntie M’s Diner in Florence for cinnamon rolls and coffee. They included Tootsie Snelling, Doni Rogers, Janet Cress, and Margie Williams.

Shealah and Dave West of Newton visited her mother, Janet Cress, Sunday evening.

Doni Rogers and Janet Cress took Sandi Cunningham to Augusta on Sept. 12 to see some of her half sisters. Rogers went to the Methodist church supper and auction Saturday at the community building in Cottonwood Falls.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling went to Marion volleyball games Sept. 11 and Thursday to see their granddaughter, Emmy Hess, play. They went to Marion football games Sept. 12 and Friday to watch their grandson, Seth Snelling, play.

The Snellings and Danny and Dean Snelling met Tootsie’s niece and husband, Treish and Kevin Hurst of Seattle Washington, at the Pizza Hut in Marion, as they were passing through.

Doni Rogers returned home from a short trip Sept. 11. She went to a ranch horse competition Sept. 13 at Strong City. She also visited Margaret and Evan Morgan at Robin and Ivan Morgan’s home. She went to Cowboy Church the next day and later saw a horsemen’s challenge show.

Denise Lang visited Margie Williams on Sept. 12. Later, she visited Dustin and Jessica Madden at Strong City to wish Dalton a happy birthday. The next day, John and Denise returned to Strong City for a birthday party for Daxton and Danna.

Steve and Coleen of El Dorado were Sept. 14 dinner guests at the Williams home.

Bill and Margie Williams visited Gary and Terry Williams Sept. 13 at Goddard. They ate dinner out together. Gayla Soyez stopped to see them before they returned home.
