Sharon Smith went to the chili cook-off Oct. 4 at Marion County Park and Lake. Justin Smith entered the contest.

Doni Rogers attended an auction in Strong City on Oct. 4 and went to a Catholic Fall Festival dinner Oct. 5. Rogers also ate lunch with Joyce Kyle, Ben Morgan, Donna Kirkpatrick, and Esta Hall on Oct. 1 at the senior center in Cottonwood Falls.

Janet Cress and Letha Goering shopped and dined together Oct. 3 in Newton. Cress also entertained overnight guests Brandon and Hunter Cress of Pittsburg on Oct. 4.

Bill and Margie Williams went to Wamego to visit Carl and Becca Williams and Sadie and Lacy on Oct 4. Other guests were Gary Williams and Jenny from Goddard.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling attended a Marion High School football game on Oct. 3 to watch their grandson Seth Snelling play.

The Snelling’s son, Dean Snelling of Goessel, spent the weekend at their home. Their son, Danny Snelling. and Seth of Marion, spent Oct. 4 at their house, too.
