The 65th annual Skinner family reunion was Sunday, Aug. 7 at Peabody Senior Center.

Attending were 25 people, most of whom were descendants of William and Margaret Skinner, who moved to Peabody in 1896 from Iowa, and James and Amanda Skinner, who moved from Iowa to LaHarpe the same year.

Those attending were Virginia Skinner, Chris and Jennifer Young with children Mackenzie, Bryant, Philip, and Alex, all of Peabody; Donna Nelson of Lindsborg; Craig and Kara Nelson and children Lanie, Adria, and Tate Nelson, Garden Plain; Virginia Bigbee, Jean Hill, and Jim and Judy Ahrens of Manhattan; Don Skinner of Leawood; Wray and Pauline Skinner of Wichita;

Out-of-state attendees included Wilberta Muchmore of Raytown, Mo.; Dr. Wilbur Hill of Liberty, Mo.; Doris Herbert of Gainesville, Texas; and Craig and Tam Skinner of Denver, Colo.
